About Baucom Plumbing Contracting, Inc.

A native of Union County, Ted Baucom founded Baucom Plumbing Contracting in 1981.   His love of the outdoors and desire to work hard were instilled in him by his parents at an early age. Ted attended a local college but decided that a corporate job was not for him. After getting a General contractor’s license, Ted tried his hand at developing real estate. He started and developed two beloved neighborhoods in Union County. The Vineyard and Old Gate are beautiful properties that almost anyone in the area would recognize. He decided to work for a local plumbing company to develop skills and loved working with his hands. Ted got his North and South Carolina plumbing license and decided to branch out independently.

From then on, the rest is history. Ted has always been down-to-earth and treated his customers like family. Instead of building a large franchise, he decided to keep his business small to attend to their needs personally. With only one or two employees, Ted would primarily do residential and small commercial jobs for the community. His passion and love for plumbing do not exceed his love for his neighbors, whom he would call friends. 

Today, Ted’s grandson Brett Baucom and son-in-law Jeremy Williams have carried on the tradition of providing excellent service to the area. They have worked together to uphold the Baucom Plumbing name based on the work ethic and skill set that Ted taught. Both Brett and Jeremy are licensed and have years of experience.   They have a vision to reach more customers, but with the same genuine attitude and integrity that Ted has always had.
